Simon Preen - Designing force to be reckoned with.

We might be in the midst of the summer season but I'm one of those people who never seems to have any 'summer clothes' in my wardrobe. No worries, though, because there are a few designers out there who create the kind of clothes that no matter the weather, you want ON.YOU.

One such designer goes by the name of Simon Preen. Upon graduating from London College of Fashion, Preen has worked with the likes of Pam Hogg, House of Blueeyes and Urban Outfitters. Merging minimalist gothic influences with futuristic aesthetics, Preen uses geometric paneling and clean silhouettes to create that neo-goth kind of feel (We like to think of the Simon Preen poster girl, as an East-London dwelling Judy Jetson-a-like, in the midst of her teenage angst-ridden years.)

Preen's 'Soft Warrior'  SS11 collection is one of those that you can instantly envision in your wardrobe. The collection features everything from semi-sheer maxi dresses and bodysuits to cropped jackets and paneled socks, all topped off with that dark, androgynous edge that Preen exudes.

Simon Preen is the voice and vision of not only London's youth, but bold, fashion-forward young non-conformists worldwide, and we at Tantrum are going to be right behind him as he leads his wildly well-dressed revolution. So the question is, who's with us?
