Featured Artist; Arc & Stones

Well, hello there internet. It has been a while, has it not?

Not that it matters. Having been away delving into my pile of incredible music coming your way, I've unearthed another gem - and you can keep all smart remarks bottled up in those pretty heads of yours... if you don't feel like tweeting them or posting them all over facebook, that is.

Arc & Stones are headed your way with their self-titled EP, and you'd better be ready for them. Easy listening only in the sense that their music makes its way into your brain via the classic weakness for moody guitar and clever lyrics.

There's something about this EP that remains with you long after you stop listening, a mournful vocal or a haunting guitar lyric that keeps you hooked and coming back for more. At the same time however, you're not getting hooked on the same old sadness - this is powerful, uplifting stuff, while recognising the bitterness the edges every human emotion.

Okay, cutting it down to the very basics. Guitar rock with a modern edge, Arc & Stones are a band that you won't want to miss this year. A genre that's dying for new life has finally had CPR, and you'll want to be first on the scene.

A disturbing euphemism, but listen to the track and try to tell me I'm wrong. In fact, I've listened to it countless times, and yet I can't find fault. Just kick up the volume and watch the winter seep away.
