We're pretty big vintage fans and are frequently on the prowl for some cool, unique pieces - whether it be in vintage boutiques, charity shops or, indeed, on Ebay. So when we came across The Ragged Priest's ebay store, you could say we were kind of a little bit more than psyched.

 

Although their Ebay store stocks all manner of vintage clothing and accessories, from fringed jackets to grungey dungarees and boho-style bags at prices you can actually afford, this quirky label specialises in 're-worked' vintage pieces. 

Yep, that's right, The Ragged Priest individually alter each item in their re-worked collection to give it that one-off, rough-and-tumble look. And whether you're into 70s hippy chic, 80s punk or 90s grunge fashion you can rest assured you'll find something to suit your style (and your budget!) at The Ragged Priest.

Behind The Zines

Zines are cool, we all know that, but they're commonly thought of as a media-form of days past, before the likes of facebook, twitter and, erm, blogging existed. Alas, this way of thinking shall be no more, thanks to Gestalten's new release; 'Behind the Zines: Self-Publishing Culture'.

'Behind the Zines' showcases the immense variety of zines which are created in this day and age. Produced by all kinds of creatives worldwide - from illustrators to photographers, writers and graphic designers, zines can be seen as quirky portfolios and exhibits or just a way of getting their work, ideas and views out there to share with the world. 

 

Filled with full-colour images of contemporary zines as well as informative interviews with their creators, 'Behind the Zines' shows us that zine culture really is still alive and kicking in the 21st century

Guess it's time for us to break out the scissors and glue and become part of the revolution...

Kick-ass eyewear.

Now, I'm not sure if you've noticed but here at Tantrum we're pretty big fans of all things quirky and fun, whether it's do with fashion, music, lifestyle or anything in between. So it's safe to say when we came across the latest project from Nono muaks we were more than a little intrigued...
