Agyness Deyn x Dr Martens

Ever since we heard that our favourite northern lass was collaborating with the most iconic British footwear brand, our hearts were all a flutter here at Tantrum, and the Agyness Deyn for Dr Martens collection did NOT disappoint. Think creeper-style shoes in black and cherry red, muted plaid, '90s daisy prints and a grungey colour palette and you've pretty much got it nailed.

Alongside the patent 1940 boots, chunky platform buckled goth boots and the velvet creepers, our fave piece from the whole collection was the heart-shaped satchel, available in 4 colours. We're torn between the oxblood and pale lilac, and with a strap that transforms the satchel into a rucksack, this is one A/W staple that will last seasons, and years to come.

Agyness Deyn for Dr Martens A/W '12 is available now, instore and online. Shop the whole collection here

Maria Francesca Pepe for Urban Outfitters

One of our favourite jewellery gals, Maria Francesca Pepe has "always preferred buying a ring rather than a dress'" which is a good thing really considering her art lies in creating bold, classic, avant-garde jewellery. MFP came to realise her calling as a jewellery designer upon graduating from CSM, London. Her designs are always one of our favourites to see at LFW, however now we can get our Pepe fix on a regular basis- Yes you can all have a little celebratory wiggle because If you haven't heard already, MFP has infused her rather perfect mix of femininity and edginess into an 8-piece collection for Urban Outfitters. We hope you are all as excited as we are! If the time it took to leave Tantrum HQ to the nearest store was an Olympic sport, Britain would be in for another gold.

This jewellery line is like no other; each piece is hand selected and the care and craftsmanship is to an impeccable standard, making sure that each design suits the Urban Outfitters' customer - definitely worth the investment! With an avid following from long time ambassadors, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Pixie Lott, among many others, it's one not to miss.

Crosses, crystals and turquoise adorn chunky twisted ropes for statement necklaces and bracelets, while hexagonal studs and geometric shapes toughen up rings, earrings and bangles. The result is a collection that is elegant but never predictable.

Exclusively at Urban Outfitters stores throughout UK and US www.urbanoutfitters.co.uk

Smoke and Mirrors

Here at Tantrum, we're blessed enough to have a whole bunch of cool, creative, artsy friends (and fans!) One such friend of ours is illustration student and all round cool-girl, Shauna Tranter, who, alongside her studies, will soon be launching a store, Smoke and Mirrors, selling handmade items including clothes, accessories, artwork and objects.

The first original pieces available to purchase from Shauna's store are these incredible, individually handmade and hand-painted skulls, currently available in bubblegum pink and a lime green, all featuring unique hand-painted designs to finish. Reminiscent of popular Mexican Day of the Dead skulls, but with more of a contemporary and fresh twist, these quirky pieces are already incredibly popular with us at Tantrum, we can't wait to get one of these beauties down to brighten up our HQ!

Handmade Skulls by Smoke and Mirrors, £25 (including UK p&p)

KILL JOSS

Now, you guys know that when we come across something (or someone) cool, we can't keep our mouth shut. We've got to share it all with you, because we're just super kind like that... So, fans of fashion, graphics, design and independent brands, meet KILL JOSS.

KILL JOSS are a Glasgow-based lifestyle and apparel brand. Representing a fast-growing culture of creatively beautiful youth, they want to "Show our lives on clothing". With the motto "Apparel you would be proud to be buried in", this creative brand have a self - confessed "Fuck It" attitude to life.

The KILL JOSS trio is made up of three best friends (and siblings!) all from diverse creative backgrounds, ranging from hair-styling, blogging and designing to visual merchandising. The blog has been going strong for two years now and the UK and USA online stores both opened earlier this year. The entire operation from designing, organising photo shoots and packaging/delivering their hand-made pieces takes place in their HQ in Glasgow's chic Merchant City area.

Our personal faves include the "Dress like a doll, swear like a sailor" shirt (because, well... duh.) and the cool, graphic Blood Diamond shirt, but with so many one-of-a-kind designs to choose from, it's a tough pick! With their edgy and well-designed, high-quality pieces, we're predicting big things for this Scottish trio. And if we're being totally honest, we just really want to be part of the KILL JOSS crew... Well, wouldn't you?!

Jewellery by Jaymie

We love many things, it's true. Some of those things include Morrissey,  Pugs, Kurt Cobain, Americana, Unicorns, Pineapples, Chanel No.5 and Brigitte Bardot. So it's no wonder then that we also love Jaymie O'Callaghan, the messy-haired, cat-loving, tea-drinking, film-nerd and fashion enthusiast whose whimsical collection of jewellery features all of the above and more!

The 22-year-old illustrator/blogger/jewellery designer is inspired by different era's (all of them!) and counts silver screen icons Audrey Hepburn & Marilyn Monroe as some of her biggest influences (alongside sparkles, flowers, pastel colours, fairytales and "Marie Antoinette-filled enchantment and whimsy")

Jaymie's unique creations feature her own hand-drawn illustrations of all the things that inspire her, fashioned into cute and quirky little necklaces and rings. Now, we don't know about you, but we just can't wait to pay homage to our idols (and cute bow-tie-wearing cats...) by wearing these one-of-a-kind handmade beauties round our necks!
